Apellation Bordeaux Contrôlée, Produit de France, süß
VERKOSTNOTIZ:
Verkostnotiz Wine Spectator:Intense, with candied lemon peel, glazed yellow apple and honey notes streaming through, picking up mirabelle plum and papaya accents through the finish, which is carried by a buried racy streak. This has a good bright feel overall. Best from 2020 through 2040. 5,000 cases made.
Verkostnotiz James Suckling:
No heavy caramel here; rather, a lot of candied citrus on the nose ranging from lemon right across to bitter orange. On the palate this is both creamy and fresh. The sweetness and alcohol are already beautifully integrated. Drink or hold (and this has at least a couple of decades of ageing potential).
Verkostnotiz Wine Advocate by Robert Parker:
The 2015 G de Chateau Guiraud just came across a little too straightforward on the nose, missing the personality and charm of some its peers. Perhaps some bottle shock here? The palate is sharp on the entry with lemon peel, lime and gooseberry, moderate depth with a slightly tapered finish. I feel thishas just closed down and will reopen with two or three years in bottle. Anticipated maturity: 2020 - 2028.
Verkostnotiz Falstaff:
Mittleres Gelbgold, Silberreflexe. Intensiv nach Blütenhonig, kandierte Orangenzesten, Marillenkonfitüre. Saftig, feine Steinobstnuancen, gute Säurestruktur, weißer Pfirsich im Nachhall, gute Länge, verfügt über Entwicklungspotenzial.
