VERKOSTNOTIZ:
Verkostnotiz James Suckling:Profound violet aromas with hints of ash and crushed stones, alongside mussel shells, purple fruit and iodine. Medium- to full-bodied, showing plush, silky texture and a length and depth that go on and on. So caressing. The density of fruit is really something, taking you into the soul of the wine. The harmonious balance leaves you satisfied and thoughtful. 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. Best after 2029 but already a joy to taste. Drink or hold.
Verkostnotiz Decanter:
Floral and darkly fruited nose, blackcurrant pastilles, rosemary, violet, black cherry. A dark core, ripe and heady, filled with chalky tannins. Reserved, almost understated but confident, with so much layering, this is profound in a really quiet, contemplative way. Great structure and concentration, nothing overt. Will be amazing in time, with a very long life ahead. Just grows and grows as it breaths, adding depth, complexity and power, the tannins becoming more chewy and pillowy. S o real and raw, quite honestly amazing: a wine that touches your soul.
