Wein aus USA, trocken
VERKOSTNOTIZ:
An intense red color is very apparent. The nose is rich, complex, and creamy, dominated by fruit with a very discreet nose of oak. The wine shows itself on the palate without restraint and expresses its complexity, power, delight, and richness with notes of ripe, round black fruits. The finish is pronounced by the Cabernet Sauvignon, similar to a grand Pauillac. Grandiose wine in an excellent vintage. Can age 30 years or more.Verkostnotiz Parker Robert:
The 2013 La Joie, which is 46% from Knights Valley, 32% from Chalk Hill and 22% from Alexander Valley, is a blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Showing loads of graphite, cedar wood, charcoal, crème de cassis and forest floor, this may well turn out to be a 50+-year wine. It tastes like a great first-growth Pauillac and has an amazing amount of complexity and richness.
Verkostnotiz James Suckling:
Sensational aromas of blackberries, blueberries, violets and wet earth. Tar underton es. Full body, chewy yet polished tannins and a long, flavorful finish. A neoclassical wine with a great future. A majority of cabernet sauvignon in this Bordeaux blend. Needs two or three years to soften still.
Verkostnotiz Decanter:
The most brooding and massive wine in the Verité portfolio, creamy cassis, plum and graphite are followed by a large-scaled, dense and intensely concentrated, savoury wine which lives up to its reputation as Sonoma's answer to Pauillac. 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
